Nuby is the UK’s number one teether brand and the world’s number one baby cup brand. They want to make an even bigger impact and be part of more parents’ lives, and move up from their position as the third biggest baby accessory brand in the UK.
Nuby make colourful & fun baby accessories and products that really work for babies from birth to toddlerhood.
Our task was to re-launch the brand to create a new position for Nuby with a brand new creative advertising platform. And we did.
Our first step was to review the brand with Nuby’s senior management and marketing team. We deconstructed the brand, putting the purpose of the company at the heart of the brand. This was the start point for our strategy.
From that review we created an idea to set Nuby well apart from their competitors. This confident position lead quite naturally to a whole new strategy and brand purpose.
Nuby is all about saying to parents: ‘U know best’. It’s about empowering parents to do it their way. Nuby is the support act, but bows to a parent’s instincts at every step from birth to toddlerhood. This challenges the convention of authoritative traditional brands.
This fun, colourful approach to the brand now guides everything Nuby does. Not only a guide for marketing, but a beacon for everything the company does, from human resources to product development.
‘U Know Best’ was launched in line with the Nuby packaging relaunch in June and has already been warmly received by customers and the trade.
