Media Research Executives (Graduate Trainee)


Differentology is a new breed ‘res tech’ company, combining research and technology to gain consumer insights. Our client list includes Samsung, The Times, Sky TV and Santander… to name a few.

You’ll be the latest addition to a team of experienced professionals who have built their reputation with some of the most high profile and innovative projects in media research.

Your average day will involve project management and analysis of quantitative research studies and investigating the effectiveness of specific client advertising campaigns.

A key part of the job role involves designing surveys, ensuring that data is properly processed and analysed, compiling data outputs into reports, and ensuring it all happens on time and on budget.

You’ll be based in Newcastle, but you’ll pop down to our London office occasionally too.

We need you to:

  • Be educated to degree level
  • Be good with people
  • Have strong analytical skills
  • Be able to work with numerical data
  • Have tenacious attention to detail and accuracy
  • Have good organisational skills
  • Be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Have a can-do attitude
  • Have the desire to work hard and prove yourself

Experience of SPSS (or similar statistical software) is would be great, but it’s not essential.


We have two offices based in Newcastle and London, you will be primarily based in Newcastle.
